In Malaysia, University of Malaya (UM) returns to the world’s top 200 after a two-year absence — climbing 50 spots from last year’s 230th to this year’s 180th.
It is followed by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, which improved its ranking of 356th last year to 320th this year.

Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), however, fell between one and 41 spots from last year.

UKM was at 250th spot and is now at 291st; USM fell from 313th to 314th; whereas UPM went from 320th to 345th.

i juz look at this ranks of the top universities around the world....to my dismay..UiTM!! is not thereeeeeeeeee!!..not even in the LOCAL list?????

i was like waaaaaaaaaat?....UiTM STUDENT are MOSTLY MUSLIM,and this indirectly shows MUSLIM PERFORMANCE in the education isnt?sooo wat??we r better in arts and all tat??but world education not seeing that as QUALITY..i want to quote this,when UM vice chancellor Professor Datuk Dr Ghauth Jasmon was interviewed...he says that.."That means they(the lecturer/students in UM) have to do quality research as only then will they be published. Once their works are published and cited in the ISI journal(i wonder wat is this?), we will get a lot of citations. It will help improve our ratings.”" ..seeeeee,i wonder whether performing concerts at dc considered as research project???..
i guess my friend is right...ppl will look down if u r said u r from UiTM...even it is not direct but the sounds of it reveals..."from where r u?".."UiTM..".."ooooo...i c "..then they will start to change the topic n talk bout other things...I WAS LIKE...O.K.A.Y...sooo I JUZ WANT TO SAY wake up!!!!!!!

juz finished editing my own blog n everything..nothing much to write..it juz that i'm so stresseddd with ASSINGMENTS!!(arghhh!!!)..but anyway i still cud control my self it juz that when u only hv lil amount of time to do lots of thing then ur head start to get stuck!!..huhu
and yeah while on the way to my class this morning i talk to a foreign student(never thought i cud be as brave as this!!,huh) which is from yaman,n her name is Safa(nice as her)..she took art n design course n is very talkative actually..we talk bout lots of things(seems like known her for ages!!)in tat 10 mins bus trip,and wat suprise me more is actually i already meet her best friend bf,Zainab..a girl from mauritius(which i thought as the lecturer at first n thats why i start the talk)...while we're talking, suddenly she got a text message and i asked her whether thats her bf texting her coz she was like happily smiling..n then she said thats was her sis from yaman n she added that they(the yamen's ppl) dont apply the bf=gf/couple culture...which i stronlgy n 100%ly agreeeeeeeeeeeeeeed...sometime i wonder wat IsLAM do we (malaysian) practice??..i mean in Malaysia if u r single at the age of 20s u r being stamped as "weird" and ppl will say that u r not an open-minded person(watever!)...but thats was vice versa with yaman...hmma(clueless)...even i try to 'muhasabah' back why i am a muslim...the thing is most ppl are born automatically muslim and they never knew wats the real meaning of being a MUSLIM....it juz a name on the id..but they never really care about ISLAM...which is a reaaaaaaly 'unlucky' thing for these 'kind' of people...'sigh'

looking for me?thats my room no..hohoh..first week in this uni really make me borim as the lesson not started yet..after that i will get busy for sureeeee...but now all my roomates are not here..gone for outing...hmm..so luckily sis give me her laptop so i cud use it for surfing n surfing the net...thanks to wirelesss..lol...free with no charge..here in shah alam we hv lots of shopping complex and to be safe u just have to be wise on speding money..which------->>i CANT..hundreds hv been spend for only 1 week!!..
